"Ik heb voor hem gewild', Jan Baeke en Alfred Marseille (2006/2008)
Een videoinstallatie met poëzie door Jan Baeke en Alfred Marseille, het betere werk in het Nederlandse taalgebied.
Dirk Van Bastelaere heeft het over dit werk op Alphavillle (jawel, drie maal l), en legt uit hoe de relatie tussen woord en beeld zich ergens noodgedwongen tussen 'redundantie' en 'arbitariteit' bevindt.

A silent film of 45 minutes consisting of single words of this script or score placed on the screen one by one, one after another, for specific lengths of time… Several different strategies were employed on timing words/passages of the film. Image quality changes too, and the situation of an audience reading a film is a special one, not to be duplicated by reading this. (Michael Snow)

First test for anaglyph 3D in HD. Use red-cyan glasses (red over the left eye) in order to see the 3d effect ...
Shot with two Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera's fixed on the same base, focal length at 50mm, lenses 160 mm apart. Footage of both camera's was synchronized through a simple handclap. Weather conditions with changing light made the architectural space more interesting. Red colours were avoided to prevent ghosting.
Ghosting seems to appear especially during lateral movement close-by and with moving persons/objects far in the background.
